Robert J. Marvin began practicing in 1983 with a large New York City law firm where he remained until 1992 when he joined the law firm of Marvin and Marvin, which was founded by his father. Bob was a partner at Marvin and Marvin from 1992 until 2019 when he became of counsel to Cappillino, Rothschild & Egan.
During his 35 years of practice, Bob has been actively involved in various litigated matters at both the trial and appellate level. He has extensive experience in complex commercial and residential real estate, zoning and land use planning, as well as construction and contract law. Bob has represented numerous developers and other property owners in various transactions and before municipal boards (Town, Village, Planning, and Zoning) in Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties. Bob previously served as a prosecutor in the Town of Pawling Justice Court.
